Active Suffolk

Active Suffolk delivering the Active Wellbeing Service at Bildeston

The Active Wellbeing Service is designed to support older adults (50+) who are currently inactive to find physical activity that suits their needs.

With the support of one of our Physical Activity Advisors, you will be able to discuss your motivations to get active, different options that are available locally to you and overcome any barriers you might have. The service is focused on you as the individual, and the Advisor will support you through consultations, phone calls, video calls and on-going reviews to provide support, motivation and advice.

Active Suffolk will be working closely with the surgery medical, admin and management team to help identify any patients that need our support as well as providing the opportunity to self refer into the service.

Visit our Active Wellbeing Service page to find out more about the Active Wellbeing Service and how it can support you to increase your activities levels.

In Suffolk, we are not moving enough. This inactivity is having a negative and detrimental effect on both our physical and mental wellbeing.

Designed by Suffolk’s physical activity and movement system, "Move More to Feel Better" sets out eight key priorities to support our people, places and partnerships in creating a healthier and happier Suffolk.

Please click on either the easy read link or the booklet link to read the strategy and let's join together to enable Suffolk to Move More to Feel Better! ⬇️
