Mental Health Crisis Line changes!

From 09:00 on the 5 April 2022 people of all ages in Norfolk and Suffolk will need to call 111 option 3 and then option 2, to access support for urgent mental health needs previously known as the First Response service.

The urgent mental health helpline will still be available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 356 days per year by calling NHS 111 Option 2, then Option 3.

A 'Mental Health crisis' means different things to different people; you may be distressed and want to harm yourself/someone else or, you may be hearing unpleasant voices, feel that people are watching you or that you are in immediate danger.  It may help you to tell someone you trust, a family member/friend who can then help you decide what to do and they can also contact services on your behalf.
